Danú, the ancient myths say that Danú was the mother of the Tuatha de Danann, an earthmother, full of wisdom , at one with nature. Here shown reclining in front of an my imagined Newgrange Entrance Stone. I have painted the stone in a rainbow layers, then covered in a beautiful turquoise layer then etched with the ancient symbols, so showing through the rainbow colours underneath. a deep red passage leads into the mound. She is also known in some parts of Ireland as Anu, sometimes Áine, depending on the local folklore.
