The Red Cailleach Newgrange Entrance Stone
The Red Cailleach Newgrange Entrance Stone

A red orange colour inspired Cailleach. She is almost integrated with the entrance stone as one hand rests on the stone, and the other touches her throat. The colours in her dress connect to the spirals and the symbols on the entrance stone. This painting has handcrushed white quartz collected from my local beaches, including Rathcor Beach. And used to decorate the walls of the mound. The entrance stone itself is embedded with crystal and semi-precious stones selected especially for their individual vibration to add to the energy of the piece. .

Location: Newgrange Entrance Stone, Bru na Boinne, Donore, Co. Meath, Ireland.
