Áine óg with hare at Legananny Dolmen
Áine óg with hare at Legananny Dolmen

Oh this young Áine is playful and has a lovely dancing energy , set beside this majestic Dolmen called Legananny ,as the name suggests. There might be a connection to the Goddess Aine, situated high in the Mournes it has an almost otherworldly feel and reminds me of the pure energy of the monasteries of the Himalayas. I have a moon hare I removed from a pin , which was a replica of a museum piece . The Hare in Ireland are steeped into the myths of the Cailleach . They are thought to know the paths into the otherworld and are symbolic of abundance and good fortune.
